Good news from British Airways this morning, as via their official Twitter arrival dates of the 787 and A380 at London Heathrow were revealed.
On the 26th and 27th June the first Boeing 787's will arrive, followed by the A380 on the 4th July.
It's an exciting time for the airline, as major fleet changes are being put into operation which should see a dramatic shift in emphasis over the next few years. Older types and some of the Boeing 747's will be stored or scapped in favour of these latest modern aircraft. It's a defining moment for the aviation industry in Britain, and this annoucment comes only days after the first 787's in the UK register flew in as Thomson Airways G-TUIA and G-TUIB.
