News from the Daily Mail today in a story that won't surprise many, but still makes me chuckle.I think it pays to look into the positives in this story. aren't really necessarily equipped to the same standards that many think they should be - give Ryanair a break.
Greece has long been an area where people who don't like the conformity of package holidays like to travel. The variety of the islands, the type of travel you can do and the amount of different activities you can take part in lends itself to exploring - however the market has been saturated with package operators and holiday tours which don't offer an awful lot of flexibility.
Ryanair has long been the favourite of students and younger people on a budget who don't mind 'slumming' it in backpacker hostels and budget hotels. What could be better that getting to a holiday destination with no ties and a degree of flexibility in terms of where you go when. There are plenty of ferries, local travel operators and transport providers which enable interaction between different islands and regions within Greece.
Ryanair in Greece can only be a good thing for independent travellers wanting to visit the region on a budget.
